The facts about smiling

It takes 17 muscles to smiles as opposed to the 43 muscles it takes to frown. So if you are feeling tired and lazy smile awhile and give your face a rest. This thought has been provided for your rumenation by Ann in conjunction with Libra pad packs.

Hello all. I just got back from Copenhagen. incopebhagen I saw the guards change and one of the poor guys fainted. I went and saw oceans twelve in English which was really good. I had brunch in a cafe which was huge and yummy. I sat on a horse and did some trotting and realised how much I miss it I am leaving for home in 10 days which is an interesting combination of excitement and sadness.

Brownies=disaster

Yesterday we made brownies. brownies have a lot of butter in them and the butter was all over the back of the baking paper which was put on the table which I then sat on and ended up with butter all over my pants. But maybe know I´ll learn not to sit on the table.

Tic tac

Do orange tic tacs actually have a point?
the first ingredient is sugar so they aren´t good for your teeth.
they don´t as far as I know freshen your breath?
ok each tic tac has 2 calories so what A: what on earth does that mean what is a calorie? and
B: you always eat more than one
did you know that 100g of tic tacs is 192 tic tacs . Only good use for the calorie info I have ever found.
anyway Germany is good and yes I am still here I just wanted to talk about tic tacs first. So good news is that next year I can do unit 3&4 German in VCE if I learn enough I might even pass. I actually don´t have much to say. We all know frogs go la-di-da-di-da they don´t go glumph glumph glumph. I am beginning to feel like this kangaroo in a joke who does an exchange with a penguin and the penguin thinks Australia is too warm and the kangaroo thinks the north pole is too cold. any way I should stop babbling and get to the point but I can´t find the point. I don´t even know if anyone reads this a as no one leaves a comment is it really so hard. Well those who are reading leave a comment and I might stop writing nothingness.

26 November 2004

today I sorted books for the flea market at school. I now own 2 James bond books a true crime diary and a developmental biology text all in English. Homework takes heaps longer so when I come back to VCE I´ll try not to complain. For example the other night I stayed up far too late writing a two page interpretation of a German poem. It is actually a really cool poem which is I guess why I could be bothered staying up so late and writing in German. I am abit worried though that it doesn´t´t make any sense. I went into Dortmund the other day and bought a new watch band ugly as it is I am hoping I will get used to it. Tomorrow is the last day with the my German poetic block which is good. I even managed to write a poem in German about the Australian Christmas. Pretty proud of that effort. ;)

Snow

Today when I looked out the window there was actually snow. I have discovered that it is better to stay quiet in English as they learn Oxford English. That means a sentence such as ´I called the child and asked it for its name.´ is correct which I find a bit stupid. but anyway I am thinking of going completely geeky next year and taking: English, biology, German, literature, chemistry maths and maths methods. Snow is falling outside the window and I´m thinking other might be a white Christmas. Love to all who read these and more love to those who comment.

To whom it may concern,

I am writing to express my intrest in your student exchange program.
I read about your program in "The Puddle" edition #24 October 2004.
I have heard excellent reports of your program.

I am interested in becoming involved by particpating in an exchange
at the commencement of next year, for 12 months. I have been taking
´Lunar Cycle´classes for the past 2 years and have also achieved a high
distinction in my last thesis in ´Lupa Lunius` with special
acknowlodgements on my use of the language.

II am sending my references in the hope that there is still a place avaliable
in the program. I am interested if you could provide me with further
details as to avaliability and costs associated with this program.

Kind Regards

A.jenna*

Andi Jenna

So anyway here´s hoping my english teacher has a sense of humour or doesn´t
know enough english to get that I am sending her up. Well not her her assignment.
So next year I begin VCE and am interested in comments about subjects so once
again click the leave a comment button and comment.

13 November 2004

hellö all
the other day on the way to school there was snow falling. But when the break came there was no sign of snow on the ground. At the moment we have a poetry main lesson and it involves lots of writing. Whenever there is something for us to write it is always dictated. Today the sun is shining. The other day when freia and I went into Dortmund we left our bikes at Dortmund kley (train station) and when we came back both of us had flat front tyres so we had to walk home.
Until we discovered that you can ride on the back rack as long as ones arse can tolerate it.

5 November 2004

Everything in Germany is cool except me the other day I lent on a wall and the thing I had written on my hand managed to transfer itself to the wall not once but like 6 times. So next week I have to go paint the wall. Had a strange experience on the plane to London as the guy I was talking to translated everything I said into Dutch for his daughter. In London I saw heaps of the streets and places from Monopoly. I also saw the complete works of Shakespeare abridged which was as good as I remember it being. I saw the guards at Buckingham palace strut their stuff which was I must say entertaining. and a belated happy birthday to my little brother. He will always be my little brother no matter how big he gets (so don´t get any ideas boyo!)

27 October 2004

well hello. I am currently in London. I am staying with the sweetest family. I have been on a double Decker bus and in a black cab. I have also stoked up on vegemite, cadburys, skittles and cordial all things I can't get in Germany. I also bought to books so how own a whole collection. I went to big Ben, tower bridge and Charles dickens' house. I have seen squirrels and I fear lost the ability to speak German. Anyway love to anyone who reads this and feel free to click leave a comment and leave a comment.

23 October 2004

This week I went to Paris and saw the arc d´triumph. We went to the musee pompidou, the Eiffel tower, nortre dame, the Louvre, the musee rodin, the musee d´orsay and Moulin rouge. Ok the things we went up are the Eiffel tower to the second floor, the arc d´triumph to the top, and nortre dame to the top. Arc d´triumph is huge. The Mona Lisa is average and the experience is not enhanced by the fact that every man and his dog is there with a camera five foot in the air trying to take a photo. But Paris was lovely and the weather was perfect as it only rained once in the afternoon.
