Well I am getting all french inspired again, they are a mysteriously content bunch the french. I have been reading Lessons from Madam Chic: 20 Stylish Secrets I learnt while living in Paris by Jennifer L. Scott and oh my gosh totally the revelation I needed/wanted to re-introduce myself to leading a passionate life (the key to avoid funks). I have just applied the 10 item wardrobe theory to my overstuffed closet, such a revelation. I have space for my coats (previously in darling hubby's wardrobe) my everyday wardrobe now consists of the three new long sleeve tops I bought on Saturday, 3 other nice tops, 2 cardigans, 2 pars of dark jeans and 2 pairs of black slacks amazing how freeing that space in the closet is. I am enjoying opening the door and not feeling overwhelmed. Yes there are some dresses in there too but as I am breastfeeding these unfortunately aren't an every day option, easy, discreet access is paramount.
I am also inspired to take on de-cluttering and re-orgainising the rest of my house which I have planned 2 rooms each day for the remainder of the week, I will let you know how I go.

B!@ch in town
Well after a day hyped up on sugar, coffee and a negative pregnancy test. I got cranky with bubba, hubby and with myself. Realistically it has been three days of funk. Clearly I want to be pregnant again and am seriously mad about the absent Ms Menses after her unheralded return last month for the first time since bubba's birth.
So I am now up unable to sleep having a cup of "relax" tea, clearing the laundry for my washing machine delivery and perusing the book Lessons from Madame Chic by Jennifer L. Scott I am finally beginning to feel sleepy and inspired but more on the inspiration tomorrow,
Goodnight world

Personality Profiling
So today while we were in Devon Port, Auckland we found these at a local shop, they are really cute little tins so here are the many facets of me Mr Men & Little Miss style.
Little Miss Chatterbox: Well obvious, I have a blog for starters I never shut up, apparently not even in my sleep.
Mr Bump: I am totally a super clutz I can barely catch a ball, walk into things etc. I have fallen off the back of a truck, walked into a bus mirrror etc.
Little Miss Giggles: not quite as much as Imo but more so when I am with her, Life is funny so Laugh
Mr Greedy: Tip Top ice cream enough said, YUMMMM!
Little Miss Naughty: this relates to greedy in that I often sneak my favourite foods even when I am not meant to or am trying to look after myself, i also like to steal Kevin's food.
Mr Noisy: Well I laugh Loudly, I talk Loudly and I am boistrous, love it.

Dickens Inn, Whangerei
Stopped for a pub meal after a big day. Started out from Helen's at 8am stopped in Orewa for Frances' Coffee and a delicious moist chocolate and raspberry slice. We then headed to the Kauri Museum which was beautiful. From there we headed straight through Dargaville, the Kumara capital of New Zealand, to Tahne Mahuta ( The Lord of the Forest) the biggest Kauri living in the world. From there we headed through Opononi to Whangarei for dinner, next we will drive the last leg of our 650kms today back to Helen's for a dessert of Tip Top Hokey Pokey.
Apparently driving that distance in one day in New Zealand is really unusual.

This is us being romantic in Orewa |

Christmas baking
Well it is that time of year again Christmas Gift Baking. This year I taught Lisa how to make honeycomb. It is a really fun recipe with lots of bubbles great to do with older kids like Lisa (who is a full grown adult child)
