Update

An update from my last post Picasso has now been coming to school with me occasionally. I am so close to finished my queen scout is unbeliveable. I stayed at liam's house last night for the first time and managed to leave my pillow there. Liam layton and i dropped into dairy bell on our way home and bought a tub of ice cream each. Liam bought a whole tub of nuts about chocolate ice cream as i haven't had it for so long it is sooooooo good. oh and i have now seen cruel intentions which was really good.

Awesome Week

Well hello all. I had an awesome week this week on tuesday we had a performer come to our school her name was Mihirangi. She performed traditional maori songs using her own interpretation, contempary methods i.e beat boxing and a loop pedal to lay a backing track to create different levels to her music. On top of all these incrediable ideas she had a beautiful voice with anamazingly clear vocal range.
Other highlights to the week were that i got two diamonds on my queen scout and am 3/4's finished. Hopefully i can present the completed qs next month. I also got my top braces off this week after 2 and a half years so that was exciting. We lost soccer again this week but only by 16 plus our team is so much better than we were our playing standard was pretty high even though we hadn't played for a couple of weeks.

NEWS FLASH

Nugget does not have opposable thumbs. This prevents him from doing many things such as sucking lolly pops, finishing the deck and stealing cookie dough. Yes there is a massive flaw in my plan of blaming him for the diapperance of cookie dough or relying on him for help in build the deck. Well nugget is the prodigy child and his lack of opposable thumbs prevent him from getting into all that much mischief barring the odd hole in the garden. Yes you have i hope guessed it nugget is a dog and as men always like to point out he may not have opposable thumbs but he can lick himself.

Well i have a biology exam today a chemistry exam tomorrow and the gat on Wednesday. So Wish me Luck.

My evening at Stomp

Well we started the evening by going to a 5 star gourmet cusine restaurant called Three, One, Two. Where we all had a very delicious and unique meal each. We then went to her majesty's thearter to see Stomp. Stomp was absoloutely mind blowing. After Stomp My Family and Nick, as we bought him a ticket for his birthday, went to koko black on Lygon street for a very late dessert. Which was alos incrediably delicious but hey it had chocolate so how could it not have been.

Oh the other thing since unit3 chem finished is the year 12 ensemble drama performances which were both incrediably good unique and well thought out interesting concepts very well enacted.

Well long time no blog

ok since i finished unit 3 chem i have also finished unit 3 biology, I have been working my hardest to revise chem and biol as i have an exam on each. My biol exam is 9 o'clock monday and chem is 11:45 tuesday and i then have the GAT on wednesday at 10 o'clock. life hasn't been all boredom and study since then though i have also been to see the Da vinci code. I have been to see stomp which was incredible, but i will do a seperate blog for that. Nick has now turned 24 and Antomn and olie are both 18 now.

Cool Stuff

Well today in mainlesson we finished unit three chemistry. Trish, our chem teacher, asked what we would like to do in the next chem period. I, as usual, suggested something completely of the tack in this case that we should eat cake. So next chem period we did infact eat cake.

Anniversary

Well bubbles finally passed away last night and this morning she was given a lovely funeral.

Cool news

Well in order to celebrate the end of exams at the end of this year I and 2 of my friends are going to go and see Lano & Woodley's goodbye tour. I am very excited. I am also hoping to celebrate the end of mid year exams by going to mudbash. Oh yes an update on my questions about the Australian identity. I presented my speech which was a touch longer than allowed but still good I got an A so it can't have been too disastrous.

Richard Carlton

Oh my God!

Richard Carlton died it is so bizzare. The news crossed to the trapped beaconsfield miners. There were tones of impending sad news. It was then announced that the great and veteran reporter Richard Carlton had died of a heart attack. I was really quite shocked i have to say and i would like to say may he rest in peace and i hope you all remember most importantly of all that he died doing something he loved.

Soccer

Well we lost soccer and we lost significantly 23 to none. I did do some good goally work between the times that the other team scored.

My Speech

Well my speech went well i managed to get my audience to laugh a couple of times. My teacher thought it was quiet good and i do not as yet know my mark.

The Umbilical Brothers

Well this is my ticket to the Umbilical Brothers. It was a very good day yesterday We had cake. Nick made us lunchand we went to max brenner and had a babka, chocolate fondue and scott had a chocolate chip cookie. Mum and Scott had a java and orange hot chocolate , I had a white chocolate and strawberry ganache and Dad had a flat white which we convinced him to put chocolate in. We then walked around and had a look at the city. The Umbilical Brothers where very very entertaining.

Weird outbreak

well at school at the moment there has been a measles outbreak so half the school is missing and you can't buy lunch because jim our chef has benn undercatering so year 12's don't get lunch.

Mums Birthday

Well it is mum's birthday on saturday so we are going to go see the umbilicl brothers which is very very cool. i was also wondering if people could comment on their opinions on the identity of australia as a people and as a nation.

Soccer

Well the girls and i played our first game of mixed soccer and we were playing our whole team of girls against a whole team of boys wh beat my bros team week before last. Officially we won. That is the story and i am sticking to it. My mum and i then went and got ice cream. Now we are watching the umbilical brothers.

My Wallet

OK so the second wallet for the year htat i have lost turned up again all intact. I lost it in fed Square and a lady in clayton found it and handed it in 2 weeks later. all the cards money and jewllery were still there. so i have my $50 back meaning i have only lost $70 this year. I have my gardian angel neklace back. and i have a learners permit and a concession card again. so yeah that was a relief to hear after my long weekend. the police station only rang our house 4 times. three times over the weekend leaving messages and once on monday when thay spoke to me so there was almost noway i could not have known it had been found.

Well I did it i have survived hoadley. Plus i passed intiative to boot. Well it rained thursday and and friday night. plus on thursday i realised that i had forgotten my hike boots so here i a big THANK YOU TO SUE who lent me her clean white runners to trudge throught the mud with. I would like to point out that they were still still vaguely white at the end. OH now to my team well they were all girls so that led to me being apprehensive cos me girls and hiking are not a good combo i am apparently top efficient or something. Anyway it went quite well there was only one time when i really cracked it and that was just as i was going into stunt 8 with some of the VL's from my district so i had a bit of chance to off load to callum and then it was all goood you would not believe our sense of relief at finishing the course. In other aspects of the camps i made some goood friends at the VOC's., such as chris who became my chair and company for the evenings along with oli and greg and the like. so good times all round. on the final VOC i met some other Vents such as matt who is actually from blackburn which is vaguely near me. though chris is from bonnie doon which is near where i go on hols when i can. Yes Bonnie Doon does exist. so anyway i will put some photos up when i get them in a week or so i hope till my next post sweet dreaming.

Quick update.

Last weekend mum and I went shopping on Bridge rd. As a result of this expedition i now have plenty of warm clothes for the winter now I just need some long sleeved resonably plain tops. This week i have been working hard to get ahead in school so i don't feel stressed about going away this weekend. So yes as afore mentioned i am going away this weekend i am going to my first ever hoadley. Oh and a special message to my poor baby wally to get well soon.

school

Well i am currently stuck at school as i normmally am on a friday as i have to hang around from 1pm till 3:15pm when my last class begins. Today it is made worse by the fact that i have a massive head cold and have been sneezing all day added to that is the fact i am quite tired.

Oh and can someone please leave a comment so i feel loved.

Saturday Afternoon

Nick and I got into the city at around 4:30 yesterday. We then Walked up to QV Square where we had drinks at Max Brenners. I had an awesome White Chocolate and Strawberry Float and Nick had a Dark Hot Chocolate. WE then walked back to collins street and along there looking for somewhere to eat. After having gone into every mini mall looking for the Haighs chocolate shop we eventually found it. We then concentrated on finding somewhere to eat. We decided to eat at Brunetti's as the savoury crepes sounded good and they were. I then went and got changed and stupidly lost my wallet which I only relised later on when I was on a tram and so we had to go back and look for it, unfortunately it wasn't there. We then walked up to the Regent Theatre where we were going to see the Lion King. The whole show was incrediable from the perfomances to the pupperteering and the sets. Everything was just so clever in the way that it worked. So it was really a very lovely night.

An Update

Ok it took me a while to get around to updating you but I went to the commonwealth games and saw the mountain biking it was a really good day and i had lots of fun spending time with my family andwatching the races. In the mens Chris Jongewaard led for the first six and a half of eight laps but finished 4th the other 2 Australians finished in 6th and 7th they were Sid Taberlay and Joshua Flemming. It was alot of fun to go and see the race.

My Saturday

Well I am completely in love Yesterday i went to the Hockey and the met Nick in the city. We went and lunch at the vege bar despite his apprehension at the idea of a place with no meat. :) aAfter lunch we went across the road to trampoline and we bought Gelati for dessert.
We then walked along Swanston street to Melbourne Central where we looked about and went and saw The Pink Panther. It was actually really funny and entertaining after that was finished we walked around some more. We then caught the train to Spencer street stn and watched the sunset from the Rialto. We then went and had a look at the fish on the Yarra. We then went back to Cheltenham on the train. When we got there we went to nicks work where i got to meet his friends and try one of the pizzas he has been raving about. Believe it or not he was right too his bosses pizzas are absolutely awesome. Oh and despite the way this may sound I am not in love with him because of what he does but because of the brilliant person he is.

The Party and what I learned

Well i travelled with some friends to a party in mornington which only took us oh....... 3 Hours. The party was a pretty awesome gathering and it was awesome to see Barney. Now to what i have learnt.
I learnt that if you are in love with someone everyone else suddenly loses interest for you. :) Ok i still can judge how cute someone is and the like but i am not attracted to them as a dating option.

Monday

Well today I went kayaking it was lots of fun. I managed not to capsize. ok i almost tipped a number of times and stabalised myself with my hand but oh well i remained upright. After we were bored of kayaking Tim and I abandonend the idea of kayaking and just jumped in. We then went up the river and floated down ovewr the rapids. After that we headed home. Tim offered to drive me and so we set off except that the clutch got stuck and so we couldn't go over the Black Spur road. We waited at the milk bar for Morri to come and give us a tow home. So yeah that was my big advetyre for the day.

Thursday

Well it was boring I wrote my english SAC in an hour and i did maths sac but printing.

Well Tuesday

Today i did the second part of my maths sac which was easier than i had anticipated. I then had english inwhich i began an essay plan. i then came home lay on the couch and watched crap so yeah fun all round. Nick then came over and cooked dinner which was delicious. i attempted a self saucing chocolate pudding for dessert, it was a bit of a disaster.

Sunday

Today was an odd day i ate crap all day feel asleep and felt slightly ill all day so yeah. it was good though i did get to talk to nick:) I cooked gingerbread men for my mums class4 and i cooked buritos for tea.

oh and the highlight fo today is mum told me i was a wonderful woman.

Saturday

Well Nick came and picked me up and we went and shopped for Cecily's present. We then went and saw Syriana which was an interesting film. Nick bought me a really cute panda. It is so cute and it lives on my stereo by my bed. Anyway that is all there is to say.

Friday

Well on friday i went to an acoustic gig at EV's with portia. On our seperate ways to the gig i met two cute german guys who are at little yarra steiner school by some strange coincidence. i then went to meet portia and told her about them and we decided to go sit and chat with them until we needed to go. Anyway we walked round the corner and portia goes hay i know one of those guys. it turns out she met him at a party the other weekend. The gig at EV's was really good.

Well i have been dancing since lunch i have no idea why but i ain't complaining as the morning was shitty. anyway i have discovered eddie perfect he is a very cool musician who writes satirical pieces with awesome beats. I am going shopping on saturday which is very cool and should be fun. :)

well tuesday was highly uneventful at school. After school amie came over and we did all of our biology questions which amounted to two question. then nick came over and we watched spicks and specks. After having played a game of ligretto with amie. we then had pancakes for tea in honour of pancake tuesday.

Well after having put up with this guy for the past 5 years i have finely found a way to irratate him and it is so simple i just put my rats in my locker and he goes nuts. i know it is pitious to want revenge but he has always been such a shit oh well. Best of all he actually spoke to a teacher about it it is insane the reaction he gives.

Saturday's Lesson

The lesson for Saturday is not to attempt chemistry homework with out having eaten something before hand as it frustrates and stresses unnecessarily.

well as i wrote it was Tine's Bday a week or so ago. So in honour of the occasion we decided to cook her dinner. We cooked Buritos, Nachos and wedges. When she came in we all attempted to hide and surprise her. We then waited for Alie who arrived shortly. We then sat down and stuffed ourselves with dinner. After dinner we played Spoons which i lost , unfortunately. We then gave her presents. I gave her a moonstone ring. We then made watermelon cocktails and looked at her photobucket. After that we ate the delicious cake imogen made but we were all so full none of us could finish it. So yes a goodnight all around.

On Friday i helped Cecily celebrate her birthday which was on saturday. She came over and we had gelati and watched serendipity. I then went and did some kayaking and achieved two eskimo rolls which are the ones where you go right over and come back up again. She then came and picked me up from the pool and we went to see matchpoint at the cameo thearter in belgrave which was really cool as it was outdoors and they give you deckchairs to sit on. We had a yummy dinner of dips and bread. The film was odd but enjoyable. so yes again happy birthday Cecily.

On sunday i went to chris's with wally and we cooked lunch for chris and his family we like to call it eggs and vegies. i then went to the maroondah festival where i bought food and that is a bout it. then robin picked portia and i up from the festival and dropped portia home. he then came over and helped me cook dinner which seemed to involve lots of wet handprints on my arse. we then just hung out and chatted.

ate food food and more food more details later o i guess it is later now being 4 days after the event the dutch festival was delicious and i have since been eating plenty of licorice even the dutch would be shocked at how much i eat i also had honey waffles which i remember from germany and are delicious. i also have honey cake and dutch toast to other memories of germany and holland.

well there was no fire at our school just at the shed next door no biggy and i am allowed to drive again. my permit is on it's way.

Monday

well today is the day of frees. i finish school at 2:30 and will come home and start cleaning. i will then go and babysit till 11pm. Unfortunately there have been some arson attacks in our area and someone has attacked my school tholugh we are not sure as to where yet.

Well i went to the city on Saturday it was lots of fun and i saw this cool as live sculpture.

well my phone works and i have all my numbers and i never had to pay a $27 fee, i changed phone instead. I have a new wallet and am in the process of getting new cards. Plus my brother is brilliant and has come up with a way of playing an mp3 blayer through a cd player so when i get it back i can just plug it in and away we go :)

well today was tuesday stuff happened and i had a yummy polenta. life is confusing and not straight forwarded i am undecided as to what i want to do. perhaps i should runaway and think about it.

George and the city

well George is dead :( and i will get a new "George" in about a week. Any suggestions for names would be welcome. Well i went to the city today with simon and had afternoon tea and dinner and dessert. We had arvo tea at Max brenner where i had a white hot chocolate, which is my favourite kind, and Simon and I shared an awesome chocolate Brownie. We then went to the vegie bar for dinner and i had a really good kofta wrap we then walked across the road and had trampoline gelato we had the white chocolate rasberry (my favourite), violet rumble and chocolate therapy. so yeah it was a god night plus i got all my homework done on the train. :)

Well we all went and celebrated our baby growing up. Ok she is older than me by about 9 months but she is still our baby. In fact when i look at it in this photo there is only one person younger than me. Would you believe there are two year 11 boys (on the end) one is actually older than me and the other is younger. Well my wallet has gone walkabout. My phone rattles andturns off if you shake it to hard. And 'George" is at the ipod docter so my handbag feels all lonely and empty. My poor baby rat is a bit sick but seems happy and if she is lucky she might be about to get a new friend.

Bubbles

My rat Bubbles and my cat Busy keep on trying to eat my lolly pops Bubbles actually pulled a chuppa chup out by the stick and preceded to chew the packaging. The day today was a long one with no frees but i will survive now i had better go do my homewrok.
