So today while we were in Devon Port, Auckland we found these at a local shop, they are really cute little tins so here are the many facets of me Mr Men & Little Miss style.
Little Miss Chatterbox: Well obvious, I have a blog for starters I never shut up, apparently not even in my sleep.
Mr Bump: I am totally a super clutz I can barely catch a ball, walk into things etc. I have fallen off the back of a truck, walked into a bus mirrror etc.
Little Miss Giggles: not quite as much as Imo but more so when I am with her, Life is funny so Laugh
Mr Greedy: Tip Top ice cream enough said, YUMMMM!
Little Miss Naughty: this relates to greedy in that I often sneak my favourite foods even when I am not meant to or am trying to look after myself, i also like to steal Kevin's food.
Mr Noisy: Well I laugh Loudly, I talk Loudly and I am boistrous, love it.
I am a Woman/Mother/Housewife acquiring wisdom. This blog is a digital record of my life from my first overseas trip, my final year of high school, my wedding, everyday life and more.

Dickens Inn, Whangerei
Stopped for a pub meal after a big day. Started out from Helen's at 8am stopped in Orewa for Frances' Coffee and a delicious moist chocolate and raspberry slice. We then headed to the Kauri Museum which was beautiful. From there we headed straight through Dargaville, the Kumara capital of New Zealand, to Tahne Mahuta ( The Lord of the Forest) the biggest Kauri living in the world. From there we headed through Opononi to Whangarei for dinner, next we will drive the last leg of our 650kms today back to Helen's for a dessert of Tip Top Hokey Pokey.
Apparently driving that distance in one day in New Zealand is really unusual.

Christmas baking
Well it is that time of year again Christmas Gift Baking. This year I taught Lisa how to make honeycomb. It is a really fun recipe with lots of bubbles great to do with older kids like Lisa (who is a full grown adult child)

Whole30 update 1/3 through
1/3 of the way through :) My husband is taking my measurements and keeping them from me. I have been doing really well having done LCHF in the 4 weeks prior I am loving having fruit and vege back in my diet. Twilight tonight so I will be breaking my whole 30 :( but I figure better than a choc top, popcorn and lemonade with possibly peanut m&m's and other sweets. I still miss my red vines with a soda mix of coke, raspberry, lemon and cherry 7up.
I am quite proud I have made Almond chocolate mocha balls and homemade Nutella. Out of both the only not allowed foods I used were 85% Chocolate and a tablespoon of honey.

French in richmond
GeoTagged, [S37.82043, W144.98884]
Well I have decided today to go French at the Richmond Hill Cheese & Larder as an inspiration for all things French.
So in my recalibration the key offenders I have noted in addition to excessive amounts of food for no apparent reason are anything under the heading confectionary and chips/crisps
Now these may sound obvious but at present these are the foods my diet consists of and used to be a source of occasional indulgence so it is time they were relegated to their proper place out of my diet and into the bin.
